Armor & AC

There are no bonuses to AC beyond the base AC bonus for Armor Types.
i.e: +6-8 for Heavy Armor, +4-5 for Medium, etc. will -never- change.

Shields, Helms, & Dexterity Bonuses will be the -only- way increase AC outside base armor bonuses. (Except certain epic enchants, quests, etc.)

Spells, enchanting, special abilities won't give AC Bonuses.
They instead will give Dmg immunity to physical damage instead. Immunities DO stack, i.e: 50% Slashing Damage Immunity on your Armor, and a 30% increase on your helm -will- give you 80% total increase.

Armor Material, as in what it's made of, will have certain properties as far as the items inherent damage immunity value is.

By default, a suit of Copper Full Plate (Weakest Available) will have 10% Immunity to Slashing & Peircing. Whereas, a suit of Dragonsilver Full Plate would have an inherent 80% Immunity to Slashing & Peircing and a 50% Immunity to Bludgeoning(Top End).

Weaponry

The only changes to weapon mechanics is Materials.
The material a weapon is made of will have an impact on the ammount of damage it does beyond it's normal dX roll.
i.e: A copper dart (1d4) would have a -1 physical dmg due to being so soft,
whereas a dragonsilver dart (1d4) would have an additional 2d12 physical damage due to being so hard. This physical damage would be mitigated by the type and quality armor the target is wearing.

Quality

Quality as far as Weapons & Armor goes determines what level spell it can be enchanted by. This includes spell buffs, item buffs, etc.

Personal Class Buffs, those that add any sort of item enchancement, ignores quality level.

Quality Spell Level
Very Poor 1
Poor 2
Below Average 3
Average 4
Above Average 5
Good 6
Very Good 7
Excellent 8
Masterwork 9

On other items, it represents the items state, dependent on type.
Unknown
Destroyed
Ruined

for most crafting & treasure items

or

Raw
Cut
Polished

for Gems.

The later two quality types are used by the crafting system, the afore mentioned (for arms & armor) quality types are results -of- the crafting system
.

Keep in mind, this is all speculation atm, and open to change based on community desire. It's a toss up between realism, playability, and adherence to PnP rules & mechanics. Please post any questions or comments. Input is vital.
